A note on disclosure: Engage Partners and Click2.ai are sister companies. Robert Deck and Chris Edwards co-founded both, and they work with engineers Ziga Bracko and Ree Davydova at Click2.ai. That gave us an unusual brief: build the recruiting technology we wish we could buy.
The problem with generic staffing software
Engage Partners places people in healthcare staffing, healthcare IT and EHR roles, finance and accounting, IT staffing and 340B program staffing. A nurse manager, an Epic-certified analyst and a controller move through very different pipelines. Layering point tools on a one-size-fits-all staffing CRM meant duplicate data, recruiters juggling tabs, and client reports built by hand.
What we built
1. A custom recruiting CRM
- Client accounts and job orders in one view: every open role, hiring manager and conversation tied to the client relationship.
- Candidate pipelines by specialty: stages differ for clinical, IT and finance searches, and the CRM reflects that.
- Recruiter activity that logs itself: calls, emails, submittals and interviews captured as they happen.
- AI where it saves time: summarizing candidate notes, drafting personalized outreach and surfacing follow-ups that are about to slip.
2. Client-facing hiring tools
Hiring managers can submit a new role with its must-haves and timing, see where each candidate stands, and get the reports they ask for most without a recruiter assembling them.
3. Weekly LinkedIn hiring videos
Before automating anything, we looked at what gets reach on LinkedIn in 2026: visual formats over plain text, short native video built for silent viewing, no outbound links, and real people posting about their own specialty. Each week, open roles from Engage's live jobs report become short, captioned videos, one per recruiter, with the recruiter's photo, the job title, location and work arrangement in large on-screen text, and the recruiter's email as the call to action. Recent roles have included a Pharmacy Manager in Miami, a Nursing Manager in Queens, an Epic Certified Analyst and a remote MEDITECH Enterprise Report Writer. 4. A fast, search-friendly website
We rebuilt engagestaff.com with specialty pages, contact and reference forms, and a staffing and recruiting blog. Every route is prerendered to static HTML with its own title, canonical URL and schema, alongside a sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt, so Google and AI answer engines can read the full site rather than an empty app shell.
What we won't claim
We aren't publishing placement or time-to-fill numbers here. Those belong to Engage, and the honest measure of a recruiting CRM is whether recruiters keep using it. What we can say is that recruiters, not the software, still own every relationship. Engage put it well: "Click2.ai builds software around the recruiting workflow, not the other way around."
