MTK Resources wrote about this project first: How AI is changing recruiting, and why we built custom AI tools with Click2.ai. Their post is a thoughtful take on where AI helps in staffing and where it doesn't. This is the build side.
The brief
MTK Resources is a specialty staffing agency recruiting across legal, fashion, nonprofits, administrative, project staffing and behavioral health. When one week can bring a paralegal search, a fashion production role and a nonprofit program director, the best candidate for one search is often sitting in another search's pipeline. MTK wanted AI that handles preparation work without taking over the conversations that make them good at recruiting.
What we built
A new staffing website
We designed and built mtkstaff.com as a fast static site with a Specialties hub and a page per specialty (legal staffing, fashion staffing, nonprofit staffing, administrative staffing and more), plus a recruiting blog. Candidate and client request forms feed straight into MTK's workflow with layered spam protection, so real inquiries arrive and bots don't.
Custom AI recruiting tools
- Resume screening and summaries: surface the candidates whose experience lines up with the role, with a short reason, so recruiters start with the strongest matches.
- Job description drafts: clear, inclusive, keyword-rich descriptions that rank better on job boards. AI writes the draft; the recruiter makes it accurate.
- Candidate matching across specialties: connecting candidates from one pipeline to open roles in another.
- Follow-up drafts: outreach, interview confirmations and status updates, so fewer candidates are left waiting.
Because the same team built the website and the tools, the forms that bring in candidates and client requests and the tools behind them work together instead of living in separate systems.
The rule we built around
AI prepares, people decide.
That line is MTK's, and it shaped every tool. Nothing screens a candidate out without a person reviewing it, and every candidate MTK presents has spoken with a real MTK recruiter. Human review also reduces the risk of AI reinforcing bias in hiring.
What we won't claim
MTK's placement metrics are theirs to share. We report what we built, not numbers we can't stand behind.
